Advertisement Research - The Appealing Fashion Sense of Gen Z

    Recently, I planned to create an advert for generation Z fashion, especially for female. This research will give you some insights about advertising that might be appealing for Gen Z. 

    "Members of Gen Z are even more detached, engrossing themselves in technology. They grew up on social media and can research their way out of any predicament." (Panel, 2018). The means of this quote is that Gen Z spend more time on gadgets rather than the other media, such as magazine, news paper because now era we can find anything on internet. 

    For my advert that is a promotion for Black Fridays event that will be happening on November, I consider to make the eye catching design because Gen Z loves something that is entertaining them, "Gen Z has a very short attention span — an estimated eight seconds only. This means that brands must create attractive and engaging content that grabs their attention in less than eight seconds or lose them forever." (Udoagwu, 2023).

    Also, Gen Zers are spend more time on social media like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms. "Of the generations surveyed, Gen Z was also found to be most influenced by online advertising, with 52% frequently engaging with companies that place ads online, compared to 30%, on average, across other age groups." (Argintaru, 2019). 


    Also, Gen Zers is known that they love to shop while there are discounts. "In May 2022, discounts were found to be the number one reason motivating Gen Z consumers to engage with a new brand on social media." (Hirose, 2023). According to Statista, the result of the feedback that they got after they made a survey to Gen Z. 



    So that, my promotion needs to be eye catching and appealing to make my products that I try to promote that I targeted to Gen Z is succeed. Due to, the advertisement that I will make is promotion about Black Fridays event, it will be suit with generation Z who likes discount.
