2D Design Process - Website Update
I re-designed The website I created last term to make it look better and make the colour palette nicer. I used Happy Hues to help me decide the best colour palette for my website.
I changed the Home page, such as:
- I still use the old font, Playfair Display; but I added a new one, Sacramento. I used this font to give the contrasting element of calligraphy and serif typeface.
- Also, I changed the background colour to #FDF7F4.
- The colour palette that I used is #FDF7F4 (background), #FFFFFF (my name, navigation, and shadow of a text), #000000 (text and title), #F2D8D9 (a shadow of a text), #E5B2B4 (a shadow of a text), and #D88C90 (a shadow of a text).
- I changed the copyright year to 2024.
- Moreover, I used my portfolio covers and 3D design as my Home page pictures.
I changed the About me page, including:
- The template of the page.
- I added the new font, Sacramento; but still use the Playfair Display font as the title.
- I changed the background
This is my Portfolio page, I changed the template, changed the backgorund and I added my latest portfolio that I created as a flipbook.
To break it down, this is the first portfolio subpage. I rearrange the template to make it nicer and changed the background. I used a new font, Sacramento, and added the title's shadow colour. Also, I added the designs to the portfolio. Moreover, I added the embedded flipbook.
This is another subpage, target market page. I change the title font to the new fornt, Sacramento. I added the shadow text. Moreover, I changed the background.
For this, I made new subpage for my new portfolio. I used the same template as the other portfolio. I added the embedded flipbook and designs that inside the portfolio.
This is the contact page:
- I changed the template concept
- I changed the background
Also, I changed the mobile view and re-designed, but all the elements and bacground is all the same as the desktop view. This is the Home page in mobile view. I changed the navigation colour to pink.
