Skirt Making Process

    Here, I want to show my process to make the plated skirt for the school uniform.

    I made the pleated skirt used Youtube for the guidelines. I did not use any pattern to make this skirt.

DIY Pleated Plaid Mini Skirt

    Firstly, I measured the waist and the length of the mannequin. I used this guidelines that I got from the video.

    And, these the result after I measured and calculated. I measured in cm and I put on the bracket as inch.

    Then, I continue to make the skirt. On the picture that is shown below before I stitched the skirt, I folded to make pleated and I marked using chalk to show where I need to stop the stitch.

    Next, I added the ban to make it nicer. And I used black zipper on the left side of the skirt. This is the final result.

    The skirt is a bit to big for the mannequin because I added 1 inch for the top and bottom while I cut the fabric; to avoid the size to small.
